Yesterday, Iraq defeated China 2-1 in the world cup qualifiers putting them back in the game!!! Qatar (armed with a blend of international "recently" naturalized players) lost 3-1 to Australia on their home ground which was even better news for us. Iraq will play against Qatar in Dubai next week with a chance of qualifying if they win or draw against Qatar so my prayers to the Iraqi team, I really wish them all the best cause Iraqis very much deserve a glimpse of joy.
